Gerina-Piller
She was born in Roswell on March 29, 1985. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her name at birth. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico to Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Her heritage is Mexican-American and is American in country of birth. From the time she was little, she's been very interested to play sports. Gerina began golfing when she was fifteen years old. Gerina attended Goddard High School. The school won an award at the New Mexico State Golf Tournament in her high school years. She played volleyball and also competed in state competitions. In 2003 she started her studies in the University of Texas. She was the only winner of all tournaments she played in during her senior year. During her undergrad career, she won an award for Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and the UTEP Female athlete of year.
